Hello Readers from around the world. Did you know that it’s nearly over a year since I first pushed the publish button on ericotrips? Looking back, it hasn’t been a piece of cake especially with hurdles such as consistency or content outsourcing. So, early last month – around the same time I uploaded the Bimmerfest and Susanne Wenger’s Blogpost, you can imagine how excited I was to see a Sunshine Blogger Award Nomination from Faith.

First off, Special Thanks to Faith for this Nomination, she is an amazing blogger at faithspen where she “pens” words that inspire hurting, depressed or confused people through encouragement and compassion. Faith also discusses Christianity on her blog.

If you’re an avid reader of ericotrips, you’ll know it wasn’t too long ago that I wanted to quit blogging cold turkey but instead, it turned out to be a very short one-month break. So it doesn’t sound like I’m saying too much, I’ll be sharing my response to Faith’s Questions right about now…

Rules for the Sunshine Blogger Award

1. Thank the person who nominated you and provide a link back to their blog.

2. List the Sunshine Blogger Award rules and display the logo on your site.

3. Answer the Sunshine Blogger Award questions.

4. Nominate eleven other bloggers and ask them eleven new questions.

5. Notify the nominees about their nominations by commenting on one of their blog posts.

Q1. What one question would you ask if you met me in person?

I would definitely have a lot of questions to ask but since you said one, here goes.
How do you muster the courage to share your deepest and most personal experiences with your blog readers?

Q2. What fuels your passion for success?

Umm. I think I’ll be relating this to “blogging success.” The Expectations from my supportive friends and inspiration from successful people in travel niche.

Q3. How do you handle down moments?

I actually say a word of prayer and if there’s someone around I can communicate with, I share my problems with them. Also, whenever I’m financially fit, I make sure that I visit some fun places to get through the times.

Q4. Do you think it’s necessary for a couple to own joint accounts?

No! No be by force.

Q5. How many books have you read this year? Mention them.

I’ve read 5 books.
1. How to Plan your Life
2. In Dependence
3. The Richest Man in Babylon
4. Reposition Yourself
5. Good Morning, Holy Spirit

Q6. What’s your favourite Bible verse? Share briefly how it ministers to you.

Psalms 23:1
This scripture affirms the role of God in everyone’s life, He is our Lord and our Provider and if we believe in Him, we cannot lack.

Q7. What genre of music are you interested in?

Afro Beats and Hip Hop.

Q8. What’s your concept of love?

Love is a beautiful thing.

Q9. Do you think it’s right for women to wear dreadlocks?

I’m very okay with women wearing dreads and I think they’re fashionable especially when worn in different styles. My only turn off is when they’re not tidy.

Q10. Does the principle of tithing hold water in the New Testament?

There’re mentions of tithing in the New Testament so it does “hold water.”

Q11. What’s your favourite food? Highlight the steps for making it happen.

It changes over time but my favourite food right now is Fufu and Ewedu garnished with Goat Meat, the leg preferably and I don’t know how to prepare it.
