No introductions, let’s just get started from the get go. SHARP PAINTBALL is the first of it’s kind in the city of Abeokuta and it was kicked off by Akinsola Ajibola, one of my buddies.

Founded on 15th July, 2019 and nestled in the Presidential Boulevard, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, Ogun state. The arena is currently open to hundreds of fun seekers ready to test their marksmanship.

Also, Sharp Paintball has over time risen to be one of the most preferred locations for Birthday Parties, Teambonding Exercises, Bachelor(ette) Parties, Reunion Events and so much more.

Here’s an inside scoop of Sharp Paintball Arena.

Let’s begin…

For day gamers, it cost 2,500 Naira per player while nightly prices rise to 3,000 Naira. The fees drop by a few bucks during festivities (Promo! Promo!! Promo!!!) and there’s something called ‘dual citizenship’ which means for only 1,500 Naira you and your friends paintball and enjoy a virtual reality moment.

The reason everyone’s talking about the Sharp Paintball is the inclusiveness, the arena hosts a bunch of events suitable for you and I. Picture Call of Duty in real life. Get the idea?

Capture the Flag, Elimination and Target Practice are some of the exciting games to try in the arena. Referees are very helpful with instructions and identifying who wins each game. Also, you can get cutting edge advice from military officers, this can be really funny at times.

Sharp Paintball takes everyone by surprise with their amazing location. Asides nailing a good spot in the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), it is very serene, secure and if you ever get worn out with paintballing, you can continue your colourful break by visiting OOPL Cinema, Tennis Court, Zoo, Museum or Bar.

The surface is covered in coarse sand, making it comfortable for players to crouch, slide or practice any military action. It features strong bamboo barricades and tires that easily cut off barrage of bullets.

On the side, it is surrounded with a chain link fence which means there’s no place to escape once you get in. Hehehe… and to make the thrilling adventure more fun, friends and family can watch the game and support teams from a spectator stand.

Depending on the time of the day, month or year you choose to visit, there will always be a special package on deck. You can choose from night games, family timeouts, private bookings, the list goes on.

The Sharp Paintball Arena is open everyday from nine a.m. to nine p.m., the first paintball arena in the neighbourhood with its many innovations and services easily earns its place as Abeokuta’s number-one recreational sports hub.
